Once the snow melted, work resumed to finish a beautiful pine post and rail fence around Arena E. Measuring 250' x 250', this large competition space looks even more inviting surrounded by 4' high treated wood with 6 gate openings that will ensure maximum flexibility for configuring activities and access by grooming equipment. And it fits in perfectly with the woodland setting. Now two of the three arenas are fenced and all are useable for events.
WASH RACK MATS! No more slipping...
Some of us get excited by non-sexy things, like rubber mats. Polycast rubber matting to be precise. Especially if they are being laid down in the wash stalls at the Horse Park! Big hugs to Hank Greenwald DVM for his contribution of this very essential item. Good thinking, Hank! Prevention all the way! Mkes for happy horses. Got to 'like' that!
Additional improvements are planned for the 2012 season including showers, warm water and mats for the wash racks, more electricity to the arenas and stalls, and cross country competition courses to name a few.
