The Horse Park is eagerly expanding its roster of organized events, and looks forward to continuing to host casual day users who come to ride the trails around the Park or haul to nearby trail heads . In 2012, Park management also will focus on attracting clinicians and trainers to bring small groups to use the facilities either during the week or on weekends when space is available. When the schedule permits, management also will consider hosting non-equine activities that are deemed compatible.

Once you visit the Park, you’ll want to return to soak up Mother Nature from the back of a horse and relax with friend and family. Many people make regular visits, either for an afternoon ride or for multiple days at a time, to unwind in the peaceful setting away from conflicting users and other intrusions. If you’re accompanied by non-horse people, the Park is an ideal starting point for reaching a wide variety of recreational activities

Park Development Continues
Closed for the Season, But Improvements Continue!
As the 2011 season drew to a close, work got underway on several key improvements aimed at enhancing Park operations and user activities. A beautiful pine post-and-rail fence is being constructed around arena E, galloping tracks were cleared, graded and seeded in the derby field area, and a water fill station was installed by arena C.
